Alright everyone, I finally feel like I’ve come out of the newlywed bliss cloud and Stephen and I are moving full steam ahead. Here’s a little update on where were at: You may have noticed from my previous posts that I quit my job. Well, a mere week after giving notice we finally got an excepted offer on a house that didn’t make us want to run!! Were currently navigating the escrow process with our tireless and uber patient real-estate agent Jenny Durling. Being jobless while calculating the already overwhelming cost of buying a home has definitely been stressful, so Stephen and I decided this was the perfect time to take a vacation ;) We just returned from a short trip with our family at Folly Beach South Carolina. In only 4 days we managed to take a walking ghost tour of Charleston, visit Nanny in Santee, surf Folly at sunup and cultivate a pretty healthy tan too!! Were not slowing down anytime soon either. My sister fly’s in for a visit on Tuesday, my best friend and partner in all kinds of mischief is moving back from Austin the same day and Stephens sister Graydon and cousin Emily are coming to visit in about a week!! The rest of the summer is gunna be chock full of all kinds of activities and if all goes well a move too!!! P.S The photos not OUR house. Just a little remodel/design inspiration ;)
